The rumors are true and Stefon Diggs is officially parting ways with the Buffalo Bills, which means he’s leaving quarterback Josh Allen amidst the drama that has been going on since playoffs 2023. Interestingly, the NFL legend Tom Brady predicted this around two years ago.

Well, technically yes. In 2022– the year Tom Brady retired from the NFL, he had a fun golf game one afternoon with Aaron RodgersPatrick Mahomes, and Josh Allen. The legendary quarterback highlighted how there has been a time in all three quarterbacks except the Bills’ star when a solid receiver left them.

I got my boy, Mike [Evans] ready to catch and…who caught Aaron [Rodgers]. Davante [Adam] left him, Tyreek [Hill] left you, Patrick [Mahomes]. Josh [Allen] don’t worry, someone will leave you too.

Tom Brady had said

Although the former Bucs quarterback didn’t specifically mention the star receiver Diggs, it appears he directed toward him. Given, that Diggs joined the Bills in 2020, which was also the year his beef with Allen came under the limelight after he was spotted yelling at the quarterback after the Buffalo’s loss in the divisional round of the playoffs.

How did the Bills trade star receiver Stefon Diggs in a controversial offseason move?

The Bills trading a star receiver such as Diggs to a team that already has a loaded offense led by C.J. Stroud has got fans upset with the franchise. Not to mention, the whole industry is shocked by the sudden offseason move.

This forced General Manager Brandon Beane to make a statement, in which he admitted that the trade decision wasn’t easy or made overnight but claimed this was an attempt to win not waiving the white flag.

This is by no means the Bills giving up or trying to take a step back or anything like that. Everything we do, we're trying to win, and we're going to continue to do that.

Brandon Beane said in the statement

Bills’ decision as many believe is because of Diggs’ dropped focus from the Bills’ passing game. After four seasons of logging 5,372 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns, the team didn’t entirely rely upon him under offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who joined after Ken Dorsey was fired.
