Considering the final result and the premature exit of Anthony Davis in this match, his presence certainly would not have hurt his team. LeBron James, however, did not take part in this Sunday’s clash between Lakers and the Timberwolves, won by the latter (127-117). Not to rest his left ankle which has caused him so much trouble since the start of the season, but because of another health problem:

The Lakers say LeBron James is unavailable due to flu symptoms.

Supposedly suffering, James therefore had to helplessly watch the defeat of his franchise as well as its relegation to ninth place in the Western Conference. Enough to ruin an evening that he had also started in front of his television, but in front of a completely different poster. Like millions of Americans, the King followed the final of the women’s NCAA tournament between Iowa and South Carolina… and spoke about star Caitlin Clark:

If you don’t think Caitlin Clark’s acting is amazing, you are a PURE HATER!!!!! Stay away from these people!! PLEASE

Admiring the prowess of the leader of the Hawkeyes, LeBron was once again able to admire the full extent of her talent in this meeting, which she finished with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

However, unfortunately for Clark, his efforts did not allow his team to win the title it had coveted for four years. The South Carolina armada ended up taking the upper hand at the end of the match and depriving the NCAA phenomenon of this consecration. Now it’s time for the WNBA Draft for the latter, where LBJ is likely to closely monitor her performances this summer.

A priori physically diminished this Sunday, LeBron James nevertheless remained attentive in front of his television to experience the clash of the weekend between Iowa and South Carolina. The opportunity for him to show all his respect towards Caitlin Clark.
