The battle for Presidential elections is heating up by the day despite D-Day being six months away. The resurgence of the popularity of the former President of the United States Donald Trump has been fascinating to observe.

Despite facing four legal battles with respect to paying hush money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels and classifying the expense as one for legal expenses, the second concerning the Capitol riots and conspiracy to overturn the results of the 2020 polls,

the third for mishandling of classified documents, and fourth to the conspiracy to overturn his narrow defeat in the State of Georgia, his popularity continues to surge.

Billionaires are rallying around him and vouching for him. Most recently, Woody Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets, was in attendance for Donald Trump‘s fundraiser, organized at the residence of investor John Paulson, and donated charitably towards his election campaign.

He doubled down on his support of the Republican on FOX News with his words of praise.

I think the world will be a safer and better place. He's extremely compassionate, I don't think people know that. I think people are starting to appreciate his sense of humor. I think the overwhelming thought was, this is just the beginning for us. Everybody in that room was ready to step up hard.

Woody Johnson forms part of the elite class who want to see Donald Trump back in the White House

It comes as no surprise that Mr. Johnson is vouching for Trump in the upcoming elections. He is the man whom the businessmen and billionaires want to see leading America again because his policies are pro-trade and commerce. In addition to that, he does not levy a hefty percentage of taxation upon the rich.

As a matter of fact, under the Trump regime, billionaires paid a lesser percentage of taxes in comparison to the working class for the first time.

The richest 400 families in the US paid an average tax rate of 23% while the bottom half of the households paid a rate of 24.2% as per The Guardian.

The fundraiser organized in Palm Beach ended with the Trump campaign leaving $50.5 million richer. This comes after President Biden and his campaign managed to raise $90 million and boasted of having the edge over him when it comes to the amount they have access to in the form of cash-on-hand.

His personality as a charming man is true as well. Donald Trump knows how to talk, he knows all the right things to say to leave the other person thoroughly impressed.

Johnson’s belief that crimes will decline under Trump has some merit to it, robberies have been on a decline since 2017, and violent crimes such as murders have been low when compared to past rates but there was an increase in crimes during the COVID-19 pandemic towards the end of Trump’s tenure as POTUS.

President Joe Biden‘s regime has witnessed a decrease in the total crime rates as well. As per preliminary statistics published by the FBI, murder, other types of reported violent crimes, and property crimes, witnessed a fall in 2023.

The murder rate is expected to witness a 13% decline in comparison to last year, which would be the biggest one-year drop on record since 1960.
