Roger Feder meets Stephen Curry

During a practice session, former tennis star Roger Federer caught the Golden State Warriors off guard. While in San Francisco, Federer welcomed a few of the NBA team players with warmth.

The tennis great spent some time shooting some baskets as he was surrounded by Stephen Curry and the Warriors. Federer was excited to be there as well.

 

Even though Roger Federer was not there for Curry’s renowned pre-game routine, he nonetheless caused quite a stir in the NBA community. The two legends’ snapshot was published by the Warriors’ Twitter account, which described it as “Iconic.”

 

On Saturday, Roger Federer said that the Laver Cup would take place in San Francisco from September 19–21, 2025, at Chase Center, the home of the seven-time NBA champion Golden State Warriors. The Swissman tried his hand at hoops and met the Warriors squad following this revelation.

Roger Federer sees a Steph Curry-less Warriors team fall to the San Antonio Spurs

Roger Federer had to witness a Steph Curry-less Golden State Warriors underperform on their home court. Not to be omitted, the San Antonio Spurs were without Victor Wembanyama too.

The Spurs defeated the Golden State Warriors 126-113 on the road in San Francisco thanks to a dominant effort.

Keldon Johnson scored 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in an outstanding double-double to lead the Spurs. Malaki Branham and Jeremy Sochan, who both scored 20 points in the victory effort, provided him with strong assistance.

 

Jonathan Kuminga scored 19 points in the fourth quarter and finished with 26 points (10 of 17) on 10-of-17 shooting from the field in 30 minutes along with two assists and three rebounds. Despite scoring a game-high 27 points on 8 of 16 shots from the field, including five 3-pointers, Klay Thompson was unable to overcome the Spurs.
