Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, aren’t the only former royal bosom buddies that everyone wants to see back together.

When the Fab Four stole hearts around the world, everyone was even more enamored with the friendship that formed between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle,

but since the Duchess of Sussex moved across the Pond and Harry published Spare, there has been a rift between the sisters-in-law that mirrors the one between Harry and William.

Any royal fans hoping for a reconciliation on either front may have to give up any hope, according to royal expert Tom Quinn.

He explained that Meghan felt that Kate should have supported her during her time in England and that they should have bonded over their shared backgrounds as outsiders to the royal inner circle.

Megan doesn’t feel guilty about Kate, because she feels that Kate should’ve been the one person in the royal family to back her against every difficulty,”

he told The Mirror. “Apart from anything else, Meghan knew Kate was an outsider, so she just couldn’t understand why Kate always towed the royal line rather than supporting her, Meghan, the other outsider.”

And while Meghan and Harry did offer words of support in the wake of Kate’s cancer diagnosis, Quinn notes that the princess’s health isn’t going to mend any of the burned bridges between her and Meghan.

The royal expert even went as far as saying that their relationship has grown to be too “poisonous” to recover from.
