The latest chapter of One Piece has taken fans by storm, teasing that Vegapunk will soon reveal the biggest secrets of the series to the entire world. We see the start of Vegapunk’s message in Chapter 1109 with Shaka, Stella, and Pythagoras. Notably those are the three dead vegapunks at the moment which is no coincidence. I have 2 theory’s.

1: They are broadcasting this video from within Punk Records

When Vegapunk’s satellites died, their consciousness transferred to Punk Records and they are actually recording this message from within. It is repeatedly said how this is a prerecorded message by Morgan’s and the Gorosei. I think Vegapunk shifted the clock in the video so that people would assume it’s pre recorded so that he could still manipulate the video in real time in response to any attempts to stop the broadcast.

2: The video is prerecorded, but it is not being broadcast from Punk Records.

Vegapunk is the smartest man in the world, he knows that a message like this will draw the attention of the World government and they will try and hit him right in Punk Records. However, Vegapunk is actually broadcasting the message from a completely different place, Karakuri, Punk Hazard, somewhere else or from a bunch of different islands at the same time.

Vegapunk’s Goal

At the beginning of the arc Vegapunk new he was going to die, I think he predicted most of if not all the events of this arc.

I think Vegapunk is baiting the Gorosei to Egghead so that he can broadcast the nightmarish forms of the Gorosei to the world (which is why he needs the viewers to get video transponder snails) instead of actually saying something, which would fulfill his promise of revealing “the truth of the world”.

Vegapunk could broadcast their true appearance to the world all while telling the world about Ohara, Lulucia, and now Egghead.

Most of the world doesn’t know that the World government had been erasing history, so if he informs the world of what the World government has been erasing, it could cause a revolution. This would allow for the World government to be out of the way so Vegapunk can realize his goal of unlimited energy and knowledge.
