During a talk on MBC1’s Big Time Podcast, Lionel Messi shared a few small things about his career and himself.

Below are some excerpts compiled by Messi Extra about the above talk:

🎙 Talking about childhood? Tell us about your time at Barca?

🗣️ Messi: I had a beautiful childhood since I was young, even when I was in Rosario with my friends. Everything was beautiful until I left Spain. That time was really difficult for me and my whole family, but the truth is that Barcelona has always treated me well.

🎙 Is the “Ankara Messi” goal your best goal?

🗣️ Messi: I don’t know if it was the best goal, but I like the importance of the goal more than its beauty.

🎙 How to become a professional player?

🗣️ Messi: Working spirit and hard practice.

Mentality is the most important factor for a player. If that player has the ability and capacity to become a professional player, but does not have a strong spirit, the career ahead and his own sacrifices will make it more difficult for him on the road. the path to becoming a professional.

🎙 How do you maintain your form?

🗣️ Messi: I have been taking myself seriously every day. I know what I want. I myself tried every day, I set a goal for myself and tried to complete it in the best way.

I maintain my level through hard training, dedication to what I aim for and always trying to improve myself every day. I focus on training, maintaining discipline both on and off the field, plus I set high standards for myself. I also listen to my coaches and analyze my performances to identify what I need to improve and always try to push myself to the next level.

I always eat healthy and exercise. But actually as I get older, I realize that working out becomes much more difficult.

🎙 Do you accept criticism and comments?

🗣️ Messi: Everyone has the right to express their opinion. And if the comments or criticisms are related to football, then it’s okay. I have no problem with that because I’m the first person to criticize myself and I’m also the first person to take responsibility for what I do. Criticism or criticism is part of football.

🎙 Is it possible that Messi will retire if he doesn’t win the World Cup?

🗣️ Messi: Of course

🎙 Favorite moment at the World Cup?

🗣️ Messi: Of course it will be the first painful blow in the opening match and after that it will be a wonderful month for the whole Argentina team. I have to preserve all the moments until we are champions. And certainly the moment of lifting the World Cup is the moment I enjoy the most.

🎙 Is there anything you dream about that you haven’t achieved yet?

🗣️ Messi: No, I have everything in my career.

🎙 What will you do after retiring?

🗣️ Messi: I haven’t thought about that. But as long as I feel like I’m still useful to the team, I’ll still play. One day I’m no longer useful and I’ll decide to retire.

🎙 How has football influenced you?

🗣️ Messi: Except for family, football is my top priority and the most important thing in my life.

🎙 Do you have time for your family?

🗣️ Messi: Of course, I have time for my family. I always try to enjoy my time off with my children and my wife.

🎙 What do you do when you are at home with your family?

🗣️ Messi: Nothing too special, just playing with the whole family. Playing football or watching TV together, generally anything a father can do with his children. But really, at this time all three of my children are quite playful.

🎙 Are you a romantic person?

🗣️ Messi: No, I’m not the romantic type

🎙 What will make you cry?

🗣️ Messi: I don’t know, but I’m very sensitive

🎙 Favorite sport after football?

🗣️ Messi: Tennis, padel tennis, basketball, and even rugby.

🎙 Favorite movie?
