Benzino RESPONDS To Dr. Dre CROWNING Eminem “BEST EMCEE EVER”

Benzino shared his thoughts on recent commentary made by Dr. Dre regarding Eminem‘s rap skills. On Tuesday (March 19), the 58-year-old responded to a recent declaration made by the West Coast producer, where he dubbed Eminem the “best emcee ever.” Instead of aiming at the Detroit rapper’s skills, Benzino opted to question Dr. Dre’s stance with esteem.

“You know I think Dr Dre is one of the greatest producers of all time, and notice I didn’t say Hip Hop producers, but this is an insult to Cube, REN, Snoop, Doc and every other rapper who wrote all those hits,” wrote the Boston native.

“I mean this is his opinion and I respect it but cmon Dre.”

Dr. Dre’s thoughts were prompted during an appearance on The Life of Mine With James Corden last week.

“I think he’s the best MC ever,” began the full statement. “Point blank, period. Of course, there are going to be arguments about that because he’s a white guy. I don’t think anyone that’s rapping can touch Eminem on that microphone.”

This continues Benzino and Eminem’s longstanding feud, which has resulted in rap disses from both men, the most recent being this year.

“Go at his neck, how the f**k is that?/ How can I go at something he doesn’t have/ Arms so short he can’t even touch his hands/ When they’re above his head doing jumping jacks,” rhymed the 8 Mile rapper on “Doomsday 2” from Lyrical Lemonade’s All Is Yellow compilation project.

“Candy-a** Eminem, bi**h-a** feminine/ Mad he lack melanin, all Valium’d up again/ Awe sh*t, here we go, Benzino vs. Jim Crow/ Know a custy when I see one, how many times you overdose?” responded Benzino on his track “Vulturius.”
