WrestleMania 40 went down this past weekend, on April 6th and 7th, 2024, and it was a big deal for women’s wrestling.

There were plenty of matches showcasing the incredible talent of female wrestlers. It was awesome to see these talented women get their time to shine on such a grand stage.

Night 1 of WrestleMania 40 was intense! Becky Lynch took on Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship, and Mami came out on top, keeping her title.

Plus, there was a thrilling six-pack tag team ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, featuring some fierce women wrestlers showing off their skills.

Night 2 was just as epic. Bayley, who won the 2024 Royal Rumble, stepped into the ring against Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship in the main event.

Fans were really hyped up for WrestleMania 40, especially for the big six-woman tag team match with Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Jade Cargill.

But it turned out the match was super short, lasting only 8 minutes and 5 seconds. Even though the trio won, a lot of fans felt let down because they were expecting more action and excitement.

But in the women’s tag match, things wrapped up quicker than fans hoped. Chants of “We Want Jade” erupted during the short time Jade Cargill was in the ring, which means they were really hyped to see the 31-year-old in action.

She’s a rising star with tons of potential, and fans wanted more of her. They also felt like Bianca Belair and Naomi, who are established stars, should’ve had more time to shine.
