Finding fame for her role as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series Wednesday, Jenna Ortega quickly rose to fame throughout the ranks of Hollywood. Following her breakthrough role, Ortega was hailed as the “scream queen” of Hollywood because of her love for horror films.

Being an incredible actress with movies like X and Scream VI to her name, it is no wonder that the next step for Ortega would be to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), an account by the name of Marvel Leaks shared that Ortega is alleged to join the MCU in the future.

 

The tweet is, of course, a simple rumor and there are no reports or speculations confirming or denying this possibility. It would be remarkable if Ortega could portray a great comic character in the MCU but what many people do not know is that the actress is already a part of the MCU!

Robert Downey Jr. portrayed the brilliant role of Iron Man in three solo films and the MCU as well. The Iron Man franchise, which essentially kickstarted the MCU, has been praised by millions of fans around the world and is indeed one of the greatest films ever made.

Well, in Iron Man 3, Tony Stark had to face The Mandarin. With Stark spending more time out of the suit rather than in it, the movie was quite an intellectual film that forced Iron Man to face his fears without a suit of armor.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. The 2013 film shows a clip of the Vice President going over to his daughter and kissing her on the forehead.

Jenna Ortega portrayed the role of the Vice President’s daughter in Iron Man 3 and has also been credited as such.

So the actress is already a part of the MCU! It would be great to see whether Marvel Studios decides to pursue the character of Ortega more deeply and make her a superhero.

This move would also be greatly helpful to the MCU especially since they have been struggling for quite a while now. Although the possibilities are endless, this still remains a theory and a mere unconfirmed rumor.
