Shaq gave Swift a crystal-encrusted Judith Leiber football clutch, which was customized with boyfriend Travis Kelce’s No. 87 jersey number.

Swift was seen carrying the clutch, which retails for $4,495, as she entered Allegiant Stadium to see Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Many fans at the time wondered who gave Swift the designer item.

And Shaq revealed he was the benefactor as he posted a picture of himself with the popstar and Authentic Brands Group CEO Jamie Salter at a Super Bowl party.

“Finally met Taylor Swift,” the NBA icon captioned an Instagram post.

“Me and Jamie Salter gifted her a NFL Judith Lieber bag.”

Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, creative director of Judith Leiber, said she was “thrilled” to see Swift carrying one of her creations.

“We have been selling the football minaudière for several years, and I suspect we will be receiving a lot more custom orders as women are becoming more and more involved with this exciting sport,” she told Page Six.

Prior to the big game, Shaq revealed that he hoped to meet the 14-time Grammy winner in Las Vegas.

“If I see Taylor Swift and get to shake her hand, take a picture, I’ll be good,” he told Page Six.

“She’s a fabulous person. I’m happy for her. I’m proud of her.

“She’s done a lot. She’s definitely a cultural icon. I just want to shake the hand of greatness.”

Swift also set tongues wagging by wearing a No. 60 jacket over her shoulder when she arrived at Super Bowl LVIII.

There was rampant speculation on social media over the significance of the number.

Some fans believe it is related to the number that Jason Kelce – the elder brother of Travis – wore at college.

But the number actually relates to the year that the Chiefs were formed.

The Chiefs originally played as the Dallas Texans as part of the American Football League from 1960 to 1962.
