The onstage moment happened during the opening weekend of his 2024 One Night At A Time Tour.

“We’re the first people to do it two nights in a row so thank you for making it possible for me to say that,” Morgan said in the clip shared by @tylermayer53.

Morgan, 30, continued to mention pop sensation Taylor, 34, who has been on her record-breaking Eras Tour over the past year.

“Imma say that ’til Taylor Swift comes to town in the fall,” he said.

The Cruel Summer hitmaker is slated to bring her tour to Lucas Oil Stadium in November.

Morgan’s mention of Taylor was not received well, as it was immediately followed by booing from the concert-goers.

Morgan responded to the crowd, telling them, “We ain’t gotta boo, We ain’t gotta boo.”

“I appreciate that. I know you all got my back though,” he added.

‘MEN ARE TRASH’

The clip was reshared on X, formerly known as Twitter, where others commented on the singer’s statement – believing he was forcing a reaction from the crowd.

User Binibining Melanie (@bb_melanie) reposted the video, adding, “The thing is Morgan Wallen could have been grateful without mentioning Taylor.

“He baited Taylor to the crowd to inflate his ego. Men are trash.”

User @miIesmoraIes chimed in, writing, “Like billionaire taylor swift doesn’t give two f**ks what racist morgan wallen fans have to say.”

The 11-time 2023 Billboard Music Awards winner has had his fair share of controversies, including his use of racist remarks in the past.

In 2021, TMZ released a video in which Morgan used a racial slur toward one of his friends after a night out, for which he later issued a statement and apologized.

WARREN’S ARREST

Just two days after Morgan was “boo’ed” for the comment, he was arrested and charged with three felony counts.

The country artist was detained by officers at Chief’s Bar on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee, after throwing a chair from the six-story rooftop bar on Sunday night.

According to an arrest warrant seen by local CBS affiliate WTVF, officers claimed it landed three feet from where they were standing on the street.

The bar’s staff told cops Morgan threw the chair and there was footage of him hurling an object over the roof, the arrest report stated.

Witnesses also claimed the Wasted on You singer laughed afterward.

Morgan was ultimately charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

The singer’s bond was set at $15,250 and footage shared on X showed him being escorted into a car following his release from the Metro Nashville Jail.

“At 10:53 pm Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities,” Morgan’s lawyer told local Fox affiliate WZTV in a statement.

Morgan is due in court on May 3, according to the Davidson County Criminal Court website.

He will already be returning to Nashville on May 2 and 3, as he is scheduled to perform at the Nissan Stadium as part of his current tour.

Morgan rose to fame after appearing in the sixth season of The Voice, where he was eliminated during the playoffs.
