The concept of monsters battling each other has been a central theme since the inception of the Godzilla franchise with the release of the very first Godzilla film in the 1950s.

This idea of colossal creatures engaged in epic battles to the death continues to be popular, almost 70 years after its birth. The latest film bearing the Godzilla name is Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and it featured a very unique take on Godzilla – the kaiju was pink.

Not only that, but some fans have deducted the nationality of every major titan in the film.

In case you didn’t know, Godzilla was eventually adopted into its own franchise in the West, known as the MonsterVerse.

The arc started with 2014’s Godzilla and includes other films such as Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Godzilla vs. Kong. The saga continues with the ongoing series titled Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

The recent release of the awe-inspiring yet iconic film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has captivated audiences worldwide.

Featuring the colossal spectacle of two legendary monsters joining forces to vanquish an even larger adversary, these movies are renowned for their epic scales, both literal and metaphorical.

In Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, audiences are introduced to a striking sight: a pink Godzilla, its visage imbued with a menacing aura, adding a new layer of intrigue to the already thrilling narrative.

According to a Twitter user, in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Kong hails from Indonesia, Godzilla represents Japan, Shimo is of Inuit descent, Mothra originates from China, and Rodan has Hispanic origins.

Obviously, this is something only the most hardcore of fans could deduce.

Why Is Godzilla Pink In Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire?

As previously stated, the iconic kaiju is pink in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire – something that genuinely shocked yet intrigued fans in a big way. The trailer for the film hints at the evolution of Godzilla’s powers since Godzilla vs. Kong, which seemed like the most logical next step.

Not only does Godzilla display a healed appearance, having recovered from injuries sustained in the Mechagodzilla battle, but he also undergoes a transformative process within a crystalline cocoon.

This cocoon appears to absorb a vibrant pink energy from the ground, suggesting that Godzilla’s evolution is intricately linked to the radioactive energy source within the Hollow Earth.

The MonsterVerse has established that Titans derive their power from the Hollow Earth, and Godzilla’s ability to absorb energy directly from the ground hints at a new form of evolution reminiscent of an insect undergoing metamorphosis.

This transformation is evident in Godzilla’s altered physical features, including longer, sharper, and increased dorsal spikes.

Furthermore, Godzilla’s newfound agility, demonstrated by a sprinting ability, heightened anticipation among fans for what lies ahead.
