Rebel Wilson is gearing up to release her upcoming memoir, Rebel Rising which will dive into her personal and professional moments in her life.

However, one particular excerpt from the book is making rounds about Sacha Baron Cohen, who allegedly asked her to do an extremely inappropriate act.

The duo has worked together in an R-rated 2016 Grisby action-comedy movie, which failed at the box office.

During the production of the flick, she recalled his inappropriate behavior, which seems like one of the few disturbing tales about her co-star.

Sacha Baron Cohen Allegedly Asked Rebel Wilson to Do a Lewd Act on Grisby Set

PEOPLE obtained one of the excerpts from her upcoming memoir, which details her experience of working with Sacha Baron Cohen during the Grisby shooting.

Given that she claimed a lot of inappropriate behavior from Cohen, she wrote about an alleged uncomfortable incident that happened after they started the production. She wrote via the outlet,

“It felt like every time I’d speak to SBC, he’d mention that he wanted me to go n-ked in a future scene. I was like, ‘Ha, I don’t do n-dity, Sacha.’”

While she refused to appear n-de in the scene, she went on to recall another incident that happened when they were filming at a soccer stadium in Cape Town.

Rebel Wilson‘s co-star called her via a production assistant to inform her that she “needed to film an additional scene.”

According to the actress, he told her, “‘Okay, well, we’re gonna film this extra scene.” Then, he allegedly pulled his pants down as she wrote,

“SBC says very matter-of-factly: ‘Okay, now I want you to stick your finger up my a-s.’ And I’m like, ‘What?? … No!!’ …”

It was quite an inappropriate situation that she found extremely uncomfortable. Admitting that she was ‘scared’ to be in that situation, she added,

“I wanted to get out of there, so I finally compromised: I slapped him on the a-s and improvised a few lines as the character.”

She further revealed in the book that she talked it out with the agent and her lawyer regarding that incident and eventually buried the whole thing by trying “to laugh it off.”

The actress claimed that she was encouraged to complete the movie, but eventually decided to not do any promotions for the project. However, the former has otherwise to say, who vehemently denied her claims.

Sacha Baron Cohen Denied Rebel Wilson’s Claims

As the Australian actress came forward with her claims, her co-star clapped back at her claims of getting inappropriate treatment. Cohen’s representative addressed the issue, denying her claims as they provided proof of their notion, including documents, film footage, and nine anonymous crew members from the film’s production.

Via the outlet, the rep stated,

“While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence.”

Disputing Wilson’s allegations, the report mentioned that the actress had read and approved the script in advance. The scene in question was what her character was attempting…At no point did Sacha actually ask her to put a finger in his b-tt.”

The eyewitnesses mentioned that the actress was treated with utmost respect throughout the production. Whereas, the actress wanted to share the story to encourage women to voice their hearts out their truths.
