The jackpot was handed out this week, reports Unilad.

It positions the winner as a rival to the net worth of two of the world’s biggest stars: Taylor Swift and The Rock Johnson.

Swift reached billionaire status over the past year, having a net worth of $1.1 billion.

In the case of The Rock, his net worth has been built over the years thanks to his career as an actor and wrestler.

He has an estimated net worth of $800 million.

He’s earned large paychecks from some of his biggest films; for example, he earned a reported $22 million for his role in Black Adam.

He was also rumoredly paid $50 million for the Netflix film Red One.

While the mystery lottery winner made their money in one swoop, it’s unlikely for them to rival Swift or The Rock immediately once they cash out.

The lottery in the US allows participants to cash out in two forms: through one large payment or the full $1.3 billion deposited to their account over 30 years.

If the winner chooses the lump sum method, they’d cash out $621 million after taxes.

Urgent warning to check Powerball tickets as $1.3 billion jackpot goes unclaimed – ending a three-month no prize streak
Still, that’s a large sum of money.

While the sum may not approach Swift’s not worth, it places the winner close to The Rock’s, and much higher than a large percentage of rich artists in the world.

Tickets unclaimed in South Carolina

Today, the South Carolina lottery revealed that a $1 million ticket hadn’t been claimed.

The ticket will expire on April 11th, meaning that the winner might be running out of time to claim their winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Turbeville Exxon gas station in Clarendon County.

The digits are 14, 16, 42, 48, and 64.

If the money goes unclaimed, it will be spent towards a good cause.

In the case of South Carolina, the money will be invested in the Education Lottery Account, which benefits public schools in the state.
