CELEBRITY Big Brother has been rocked by a fresh ‘fakery’ storm thanks to a former legend from the show.

Kim Woodburn, 82, has accused one of this year’s CBB stars of “pretending” she had hurt herself and even branded her “phoney”.

Kim told The Sun’s Celebrity Big Brother Breakdown podcast, in association with Press Box PR, that she believes Fern Britton ‘faked’ her head injury on the show.

Former This Morning star Fern collided with Nikita Kuzmin and banged her head on the back of a chair during an energetic task.

The celebs had been split into two teams and were attempting to pop each other’s balloons when the accident happened.

Big Brother halted the game and 66-year-old Fern was helped to the Diary Room by Nikita, where she rested and recovered with the lights dimmed.

But 2017 housemate Kim said: “I’ll tell you what I did find. I thought, ‘Fern, what are you doing, dear?’ when she pretended… I say pretended, but she did… when she pretended she’d hurt her head.

“Now we know she hadn’t. We know she hadn’t, and when she got Nikita because she couldn’t see too well, hand on head, helping her into the Diary Room, sitting her down.

“And then suddenly, she’s bolt upright, two hands on her knees chatting to Big Brother. And then she announces, ‘I have to lie down. Oh, oh, I have to!'”

Kim continued: “You and I knew that was phoney, because I’ll tell you why, when you’re in Big Brother, they’re awfully good.

“Anybody that’s any slightly ill, the doctors are right there. Oh my goodness me, they’re so vigilant.

“When [Big Brother] allowed her to sit in that chair, if he thought she was ill, she would have had a doctor in there in two seconds. He was playing along.”

Fern was first to be evicted form CBB during last Friday’s final, meaning she finished the series in fifth place.

The TV presenter was delighted to see her daughter waiting in the crowd and told hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best that she would be rushing back home to Cornwall.

Kim’s first encounter with Fern was years ago during her This Morning heyday.

The How Clean Is Your House? star described her as a “delightful person” when recalling their encounter, but now says she is “puzzled” by Fern.

Kim added: “There’s two sides to Fern. There’s that lovely side, then this is phoney, stupid side, so don’t know what to make of her at all.

“There’s definitely passive aggression there.”

Meanwhile, while chatting to The Sun’s podcast, Kim revealed how much she has spent on cosmetic procedures to look younger than her 82 years.

It comes following Fern’s “ageism” row in Celebrity Big Brother. The star lashed out at Strictly star Nikita after he complimented her jumper.
