Taylor Swift fans threaten to boycott singer as shocking comments made by boyfriend Matty Healy resurface

TAYLOR Swift fans have threatened to boycott the singer after shocking comments have resurfaced, made by her boyfriend Matt Healy.

The Sun previously revealed how Matty is dating megastar Taylor Swift following her split from actor Joe Alwyn, 32, after six years.

But The 1975 singer has angered fans after appearing on a podcast alongside Adam Friedland and Nick Mullen, back in February.

Fans labelled the comments made about 23-year-old rapper Ice Spice on the podcast as ‘disgusting’ from Matty’s appearance on The Adam Friedland Show.

Taking to social media, one person wrote: “Let’s all boycott Taylor Swift dating Matty Healy by selling our Eras Tour tickets at for below face value!!!”

A second penned: “Oh Taylor Swift really abandoned the performative activist act now she is showing her true colors dating Matty Healy. transphobe, racist, xenophobic, molester, antisemist, islamophone neo-nazi that watches abuse black women porn.”

A third said: “The splintering of r/TaylorSwift because Taylor is dating the racist & misogynistic Matty Healy is not something I had on my 2023 bingo card.”

And a fourth wrote: “If Taylor swift is your favourite it doesn’t you have to support even when she is doing worst . Taylor is doing worst she is in relationship with gross worst racist Matty. I am swifties from past 10 years but now it seem worst to support Taylor.”

The podcast Matty appeared on has since been removed after the derogatory comments made on the episode.

It comes as a source close to Taylor said: “She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out.

“Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover.

“Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.”

Since the news of their romance broke, the pair were seen locking lips during a New York City date night.

The sighting comes shortly after the controversial musician was spotted showing love to the pop singer at the Nashville stop on her Eras tour.

They were spotted on a romantic outing with Jack Antonoff and his fiancée Margaret Qualley, according to Page Six.

The couples visited Casa Cipriani and were spotted by a fan who shared photos on Instagram.

In the photo, Taylor donned a yellow dress while Matty had on a black jacket.

Jack was also visible in the photo, wearing a similarly chic jacket.
