Prince Harry urged to make ‘public statement on huge mistake’ to end feud with Princess Kate and Prince William

Prince Harry has been urged to make a “public statement on a huge mistake” if he wants to end his ongoing feud with William and Kate.

The relationship between the brothers has been frosty in recent years, thanks in part to a series of bombshell claims that Harry made in his memoir Spare, which was released in January 2023.

Harry wrote that his brother was critical of his wife, whom he relocated to the United States with in 2020, and that William allegedly called her “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”.

The Duke of Sussex also discussed various points of contention between his wife and Kate. One specific disagreement revolved around Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress, which left Meghan reportedly “sobbing on the floor”.

Aside from Harry’s scathing memoir, the couple’s Netflix series released in 2022, and their landmark interview with Oprah in 2021, had previously added fuel to the fire.

Whilst chances of a reconciliation looking slim, King Charles’ former butler believes he knows of a way that could mend the fractured relationship and give Harry his former life back.

Speaking to the New York Post, Grant Harold said: “The only way I see this happening is a public statement from Harry, where you come out and say that you were in a bad space and that [Spare] was a mistake.

In the memoir, Harry also claimed that William attacked him after a disagreement over the Duke’s wife Meghan. He wrote: “He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.
